LBR Grips

I have a Alfa 38 LBR with which I am quite happy. However the grips are rather small and when firing the rear of the trigger guard pounds my finger which is uncomfortable to say the least.

I took the finger grooves off to try and create some clearance which has helped but not enough to make shooting the thing comfortable.

I am thinking I need a grip which will push my hand further down the grip away from the frame and as a result a longer grip to take my hand in the lower position.

I need the services of somebody to make me a new set or adapt another set to accomplish the required result .I am of the understanding that the Alfa is very close to a k frame and I do have a set of exotic hardwood grips for a Taurus 357 which are of the Hogue monogrip design.

Any suggestionfs for someone who can help?

Thanks in advance chaps

Hi GazzerM1,

If you fancy a bit of DIY you could try some polymorph which would create a perfectly custom grip, ive used this on my custom stock for my tikka and it is soo comfortable to shoot. I would have thought that with pistol shooting this type of grip could really help with accuracy!

Hope you try this as it really is very good stuff and so cheap!
