ejg223
I really love those stocks. How do you find them Of course I must say positive things about them. I think the slightly narrower and slimmer forend is a good move compared to the first E-Tac. The ergonomics around the shooting hand are really nice also the thumb position. All derived on CAD no prototype... If one thinks this rifle with a shortened F/TR barrel 22" weighs slightly less than a Mauser M03 sporting rifle then I think that is already good however the 1.3kg (with mounts) Kahles is a bit on the heavy side for hunting. maybe the barrel could be a bit lighter and shorter. As is the rifle weighs 5.3kg 11.7lbs scope, mod, bipod included I was just getting a new 223 remmy together for my son, now he sold it before it was finished and he is looking for a varmint T3 223 to fit in one of these stocks. He was never really much into rifles but this is something he has to have. edi David, I thought the same. Especially in good company.....and someone who helps drag the deer up the hill to the car.... IMG-20120131-00238750x216.jpg That barrel profile just looks perfect. What a simple rifle that shot so well. The non adjustable cheek piece really appeals. Less to move and go wrong. happyhunter
Nice! (Which picatinny rail is that?) BD if your still looking for a rail, I've an original t3 rail here either black or s/s with fixings. Pm if intrested?
Scotch_egg
http://-.no/tikka/tikka-t3-5mrad-picatinny-rail.html I love this rail as it uses the build in dovetail on the action. I would like to see the principle use by sportsmatch to make a one piece dovetail mount. But I think that will never happen. Best I have seen is the spuhr mount that needs the ejection port opening up.

Thanks - that's what I had on the green one I pictured about 14 posts earlier - thought it was perfect, funny that the same thing catches my eye on yours, without realising it is the same!
