247sniper
Yes I am very interested in this tool also, how did you get on, performance wise etc. Did or are you able to measure and performance and drop in bullet BC, I know they have a crap BC anyway but for dialing in out to say 140 yards it would make a difference. Keen to here. Steve
Big Al
Sorry guys Ive just seen this thread. Matt, I think the guy was in Norway. I have tried the die now enough to feel that it made little difference to accuracy and in my opinion wasn't worth the effort if an improvement in accuracy was what you wanted. To buy cheap rimfire ammo then try to accurise it just doesn't make any sense considering the cost of even the best stuff. I have in the past found that different rifles have had a preference for SK Standard which have a target bullet rather than a hollow point, I did use the die to make hollow points and in that respect it worked and didn't affect the accuracy badly but it definitely affected the BC with more drop at 100yds with the hollow point than without. It did allow you to make some very aggressive hollow points than lost out on accuracy but would have been useful for 25yd ratting as they certainly hit hard but accuracy was poor at around 1"@50yds, the ore aggressive the HP the less accurate they were which stands to reason. The problem though is the point which makes the hole also had a habit of sticking into the bullet and on traction it loosened the bullet in the case. There was also a problem with the shell holder being made a bit too tight so some rims wouldn't fit in. Overall the idea seemed to be better than the reality. I sent the die back last summer with my observations and Ive heard nothing more, I also sent a PM last summer which wasn't replied to, I see LR1978 hasn't been back since July last year. Seoc
I am after a die to change the head of Elly club to a wadcutter. I do target shooting and at present the standard bullet hole is not to clean. And in Australia the price of ELLY Match is a bit high. Niel Waltz won't answer emails so I think he may have retired. Big Al would you still have the address you returned the die too? Thanks all happy shooting.

(sorry for my following bad english ) I have made a new design similar to the Neal Waltz die but with a floating chamber so you will get the cartridge completely inside the body before you start pressing the bullet against the piston. Send me a PM why YOU should be the one testing this tool for free :bthumb: Happy to buy the tooling vudoo 22 360 looking for the edge stephenmorris@morrisvalves,com
