Sakoboomstick
has any one had this problem, one of my sako's was feeding and ejecting fine then all of a sudden it stopped ejecting the fired case. the fired case just sits in the bolt face held in by the extractor claw, the pin that slides up the underside groove will not pop the case out. i am scratching my head abit here, anyone help? Streeker59
Sako... The ejector pin is part of a steel rising block. When the bolt moves back, the block rises and the ejector pin moves up into a groove in the underside of the bolt enabling it to strike the spent case and push it away from the boltface. Either the spring that pushes the rising block has broken or there is crud in the action jamming its movement.... Grant..
Toby
Had exactly the same problem with my sako 75 in 222.Sent it in for bedding and fitting of new MacStock, before it went in ejecting fine, after it came back nada Contacted the smith with the problem and my theory(releasing agent gumming it up?)Quick 5 min strip down at smiths, good as new!-Toby
