trucraft Posted September 29, 2013 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 I don't know of any such courses but recon if U can find a knife maker near you that may be willing to run you through the process in there workshop for a few beers. I make a few knives each year. I design the blade and send the steel off to a fella in Devon to shape and temper. I then make the handle scales and scabbard myself. So not a true knife maker but a very good way to start. I have plenty if scales and probably could sort you out one of my bush craft blank blades if you wanted to start like that.
