brown dog
Thought this was rather cool today. (Do remember that we're still excited about electricity in Wiltshire)
Christian
That is nice indeed! Starting a drive or finishing a shoot with a hunting horn is beautiful - particularly on a frosty day where the sound eccos in the forest. baldie
Never get roped into "blowing" if you haven't got it off pat. The hardest thing i ever did was to stand at the graveside of a young woman who had died suddenly and unexpectedly. Performed in full hunt uniform, with two of her favourite hounds on couples there too. I blew "going home" and the assembled congregation said the valleys truly rang. You are not forgotten Judith. I wish someone did that in my funeral... but, I think I have found another tradition we need to introduce in the Worcester 7 with Z and all the rest of the boys Now, anyone have a horn and wish to teach us how to blow it??? best wishes, Finman
