desparado Posted October 23, 2012 Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 FS: Huge rifle stock Take a look at this enormous walnut stock: Would suit a big rifle project eg, Heavy Varmint BR, Any Rifle, Unlimited or 50cal.... Dimensions: Length: 36" Width of Forend: 6" !! Height: 6" LoP: 14" Weight 8lbs. Outline inletted for a Stolle Polar, but not bedded though. Has been drilled to accept bedding bolts, but no pillar bedding installed. Has twin rails in the forend and one in the buttstock and a massive rubber buttpad. Trigger guard and bedding bolt seats. Has plenty of space for any very big action to be bedded in. Maker - unknown, there are no identification marks or clues, he must have been a highly skilled woodcarver though, the craftmanship is superb, see especially the flowing contours around the buttstock.
