Ronin Posted May 17, 2007 Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 Just for your information, the North West branch of the BDS is holding its spring shoot at Grayrigg village, north of Kendal on sunday 20th May 2007. The shoot is open to anyone and is a practice only. If you want to come along, do so and you should find cordial company and some fine shooting (I wont be there as I have to do a 12hr shift) The event is an opportunity for members to practice their skills on the standard DSC1 course of fire. (3 shots into a zero target at 100yards, 3 shots into a buck target at 100yards, 3 shots kneeling at 70 yards and 3 shots standing at 40 yards - same target) There is a good atmosphere at these shoots and as I say anyone is welcome, if you have a deer legal rifle, bring your FAC and cert of insurance.
