22-250jock Posted October 21, 2012 Report Share Posted October 21, 2012 is the fallow rut late this year in the south east?, only just seen, heard and smelt the first bucks this week in our area. this is about 2 weeks later than last year going by our records. also whilst out stalking 2 weeks ago we saw a doe with a youngster that couldnt have been more than a few days old just wondered whats happening else where cheers jock Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I shot a couple of bucks last tuesday they stank to hi heaven but there not active on the stands yet. May look again this tuesday hopefully they would of kicked off by then.
