  1. As title, came off my howa 1500 6.5 creed, only has the Angled grip, right handed. Upgraded to an ACC. £485 Inc post or collection from Sheffield Comes in a cz457 box as I can't find the howa box.
  2. Has anyone had any experience with the Bushnell all purpose 10x42? I'm after a cheap pair of binos for spotting mainly in pr22 matches. Or should I folk out the extra £50 for the cheapest vortex's?
  3. I started with n550 with 139gn lapuas, but moved to n160 and find it more consistent
  4. Can anyone point me in the direction (if there is one) of an AICS based sled to single feed. I want to have a go at bench rest and f class at a club I'm joing to see if it's something I like/want to invest time and money into, and I know one rule is no magazines only single feeding. Being a new club I'd like to not show up and annoy the comp organiser by not being prepared. Thanks
  5. I was born in 89 so was brought up on acdc Metallica elo queen beetles etc by my mother then pop and club r n b and rave by my sister in the mid 90's and modern pop, rock and country by radio 2 at work. I like pretty much anything apart from heavy rap. I like someones music more if I've heard them sing live and they can actually sing without autotune, frya ridings, lady gaga, pink, Sam rider, etc.
  6. I have a howa 1500 with a varmint barrel. I've settled on a load after 3 ladder tests and lots of 5 shot groups, SD 5 ES 14. Lapua brass SRP 139gn lapua scenar Federal 205l srp 42gn vhit 160 Coj 2.795 Col 2.905
  7. I have one of these too but I find I still need to take a second bag as I can't fit everything in, but it's still a very good bag.
  8. Is that new posts or just comments on people's posts? I've started 2 posts but everything else I've found though searching, it could take me years to post 10 new topics without spamming
  9. Cheers, steel hits is what I'll be looking at most of the time anyway. Thanks
  10. What sort of magnification range should I look at for spotting out to 1000m? Would it differ if I went for binos over a spotting scope? I'd prefer binos I just find them easier to look though for long periods. This isn't a brand recommendation post just need to know what level of mag I need. Thanks guys
  11. Thanks for the info. I did assume my insurance didn't cover anything but me, but never hurts to ask. I'm hopefully going to the SIS next month, and have already asked Helen the question about whether I'm covered or not.
  12. I will when I can get hold of him, but for now I'd like to know what people's thoughts are. And questions I should ask, incase there's something I haven't thought of.
  13. Everyone interprets different so wanted to ask what people's thoughts on this are. These are the conditions on my FAC. I interpret them as I can shoot targets on police rated land (for my calibre), not just home office approved clubs. I don't want to get into trouble with the old bill if I enter a competition that's on land rated but not HOA. I.e I shoot PRS competitions but some may not be on club grounds but on land rated to say 338 (I have 6.5 creedmoor). And I have my own ccc3 insurance. Whats your thoughts? And any questions I should ask my FEO. Thanks
