So my ticket arrival is imminent and the rifles I’m looking at for the purpose of Stalking mostly with a bit of lead slinging at Bisley are ( budget constraints ) Bergara B14 Sporter Green Synthetic 6.5 CM I’ve also been checking out the Mauser M18 . There’s a decent HMR going secondhand that’s in that kinda price bracket to . Just wondering who’s had and shot any of the above and what your two bobs worth is . The Bergara’s don’t have 3 stage safety where the bolt is locked I know this is a deal breaker for some . All three rifles mentioned will do sub MOA with the right round and decent human input, but keen to hear first hand experiences from those that have, thanks .

Hello All Introducing myself, based in the South East originally from north of the border . Trained as a GK in my youth then took a different path but came back to field sports .
