  1. Yes but its not the quick-change system of the later AIs such as the AX and AT which can be be done with an allen key in the field. The barrel screw the above user was referencing is the quick-change feature of the later rifles.
  2. If anyone is looking for once fired .303 brass the Vickers Machine Gun Collection & Research Association have some available. https://vickersmg.blog/product/once-fired-brass-303-inch-100-cases/
  3. Very cool straight pull Aug for sale here with an original Swarovski 1.5x scope as per the cold war military ones. Some other really nice Enfields too by the looks of it. https://thedevizesgunsmith.co.uk/rifles/rifles-full-bore-service-and-sniper/
  4. With the scope 7k is definitely within reach, my estimate was minus scope
  5. Advertising around the £4-5k mark would probably be about right I think, but it may sit for a while, these type of rifles don't seem to be selling super quickly lately.
  6. Thanks Roy, yes it's from my AI PM, was hoping if I could find the mag they started with I could make some more for myself. Steve Houghton in his book mentions they might be Tikka hence my initial assumption.
  7. Hello, I have a magazine that has been modified from a Tikka (or similar) magazine to .308 to go in a vintage AI rifle. The modification was done in the mid 80s so the original mag will be from a rifle of that vintage, does anybody know what it may be from originally as I would like to make some more mags for myself. The mag internals have been blocked and the follower chopped to accommodate 308 to work in the AI so I would presume the mag started out in a long action calibre e.g. 300wm. Any help is much appreciated
  8. Doesn't look like a folder, the hinge mech isn't there, looks like the fixed variant to me.
  9. Thats 16MOA on your scope not 1.6 MILS. 16MOA is considerably more than 1.6 MILS
  10. Sold my AI moderator so have no use for its cover. Pristine condition Tab Gear SAS R Cover designed specifically for the AI moderator, these cost £80 brand new from Sporting Services plus £5 shipping. Price £55 posted

  13. I I'm not an RFD but typically dealers charge between £3-5 per week for firearm storage. Unsure of the paperwork implications but i would imagine you inform the police of the red you have left them with.
  14. SOLD SPUHR ISMS Picatinny 34mm For sale: £230 posted Immaculate condition, now surplus to requirements hence sale. Includes all original paperwork and parts as seen in photos. These now retail for £335 from optics warehouse. Advertised elsewhere too. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.
  15. I believe they are the same mod they just mark them differently for licensing ease e.g. if you have a .308 rifle and are applying for a .338 mod for it the police would be funny about it. I have one marked .338 and use it on both my 308 and 338 and have an unmarked one which is identical to the one marked 338.
  16. Selling my immaculate S&B 5-20x50 Ultra Short MIL P4L FFP Still have the original box with the scope. The SPUHR mount can be included for an additional £200 These are very hard scopes to find and almost never come up second hand. Scope Price: £2050
