  1. Hi Folks, I have a Magnetospeed Sporter for sale. It's about a 18m old, and been used about 10 times. In orginal box. Immaculate. Has a spacer rod, to make set-up super easy 拢xxx ono incl postage James
  2. Use Redding Competition Shellholders so you dont have to move the lock ring 馃槈 J
  3. Hi chaps, I have some parts remaining from my 300 WSM. Any good to you ? Hornady/ Stoney Point comparator case body Wilson trimmer body Chamber Cleaning mandrel Anyway, if its of use to you drop me a line 拢20 + p&p James
  4. Hi chaps, I have a bore guide that fits a RPA Quad lock action. Made by HPS-TR. Diameter is 22mm or 0.867" (I dont think the similar Quadlite action) Anyway, if its of use to you drop me a line 拢10 + p&p James
  5. Hi Ralparama, I pretty much agree with Popsbengo, consistency is key. I defo prefer FLS, as the brass is the same every time , and do use neck bushings because i can control the amount of neck expansion (and I have some neck-turn chambers). I want to use a bushing small enough, that I plastically deform the neck from the inside. So, I target the expander / mandrel moving the neck about 3-4 thou diameter. Until recently, I also used a mandrel on the neck, to give me a nominal .002 of neck tension on the bullet. I recent bought Redding carbide button, and that seems to give same run-out....and saves me a trip through the press. Annealing does give consistency over repeated firing of the brass. With a Wilson seating die, I can feel it, but I don't have a force gauge to actually measure it. I do have an AMP annealer, but I used to flame anneal in a simple tube in a slow rotating drill chuck, and a MAPP gas flame. I used two temperatures of Temperlac paint to figure out how long I needed in the flame. I think it was 6 secs for the 300WSM. Clearly not as gucci, or easy to use as the AMP , but it does work. A chum of mine has built his own induction annealer, and this is a clever way to go, if the budget it tight. Or find someone locally, who'll let you use their AMP, for a pay-per-go fee. I do feel that with the AMP, I'm also buying a lot of know-how, as they've done a tonne or hardness testing, so their settings should be optimally effective. Good luck on your quest for long range precisison J
  6. I've swapped all my calibres to Redding Full Length Type S dies + Redding competition shell holders, to give 2 thou shoulder bump. I have been using a separate mandrel on the necks, after FLS, but recently tried Redding carbide button in the FLS dies, and I can't measure a change to run-out I use Wilson seating dies, which I love as it can use them on the firing point. I used to use shims, but treated myself to micrometer tops, but it's only a convenience I anneal every time, with an AMP I do neck turn for my precision rifles: One 'cos the chamber demands it,. One, just a light skim 'cos I can'. I can't prove it makes a difference in the latter. I use an industrial ultrasound machine: cost the same as a branded 'shooting' one, but does MUCH better job, and ut hasn't blown-up a day after the warrantee period I do uniform primer pockets & deburr flash-holes, even on Lapua brass..... but I don't have data to say it's worth doing , and Erik Cortina was saying it's not worth it. I assume he has data to back up that assertion And finally I recently bought an ARC 3-way trimmer via Wildcat, which is defo never going back. Sooooo much better that Lee or Wilson predecessors I have segregated cases into 1-2gr batches, but I can't detect a PoI shift for the light vs heavy ones; so this is prob a a waste of time #GeekyHomeloads !
  7. Hi Folks, I have some bullets head in my reloading box, which I'm probably not going to use....but they might be just what you need. So rather hoarding them, I'll offer 'em up 1) 284 / 7mm Berger 190gr Hybrids , x100, un-opened; 拢70 2) 6.5mm 140gr Hornady Interlock, x100, un-opened; 拢45 Can post, or meet-up in S Bucks, or Bisley. Maidstone also possible over xmas James
  8. Hi Ashcroft, I have Swaro PV 2.5-10x56, which does everything in the woods & fields that I need. In fact, I always use FFP for all my field use, even for 22LR & air rifle. Having an illuminated dot , or small cross, could be considered to help, for when on low mag; but TBH, that's never actually felt essential to me. For load dev, a slightly higher mag might be nice, but not if I have to loose , say, 4x bottom end mag. Perhaps 3-18x would be ideal. I find using SFP is plain confusing, with hash-marks changing size on the target. I've even converted my F-Open rifles to a March FF scope, which is probably 'unconventional thinking', but I'm very happy with it. James
  9. Hello, Does anyone have a stock for a Barnard Model P (right bolt , right port) I looking for something like an F-TR, or even a TR stock, possibly F-Open. I want to use my Barnard off a bipod, and my current F-Open stock isn't ideal to modify. Do drop me a PM, if you have something 馃檪 James
  10. Hello Michal S, I think Mik Mak at Dolphin Rifle has exported custom rifles to European customers. I've been v v happy with his work, and his knowledge of what works well or doesn't Happy shpping James
  11. Hello Folks, I have some Swarovski 8 x 42 EL Range binoculars, which I don't use now that I'm not stalking so much. As you'd expect from Swarovski the image quality if phenomenal, and they work right into very last light I always look after my gear, so these are in excellent condition, with carry case, comfy neoprene neck strap, and in the original box (also immaculate) These are about 10yr old, so they give the range and the horizontal range. If you're reading this, then these would do more good being around your neck, than sat in my cupboard 馃槈 New, these are approx 拢2975. I'd like 拢1550 ono. Or I might trade for a set of Swaro CL 8x30, which are bit more portable for general use. Can be seen in South Buckinghamshire, or Bisley. Possibly nr Maidstone around Christmas. James

Batch 290720. 拢75 SOLD 2) Vhit N165 2 x 1 kg unopened Batch date: 29.07.2020 拢 90 /kg Pick-up in person in South Buckinghamshire, or at Bisley. Possibly Maidstone are at Christmas. 13. Hello, Does anyone use a light filling for their rear bag , for F Class ? I have heavy sand, but it means the bag weighs on tonne. There must be a better way ! James
  14. Mine arrived from Canada with no charges or delays I was most surprised!
  15. I have a cz527 varmint laminate, which loves Berger 73gr BT, over vhit n135. It's been easy to tune, and consistent. When it was new, I did have Norman Clark shorten (20") & thread the factory barrel, plus bed the action and fettle the trigger.
  16. Hello, I'm going to sell my Farley Coaxial rest, as I'm not using it much this days. It's done great service , but it's time to let someone more active use it. It has the Space Base, which is lighter to lug around the range than heavy standard base. Delivery to Bisley by arrangement, or near Marlow, Bucks. (Postage might be possible, but not ideal due to weight / shape) These are about 拢1300 new, so I'd like 拢 for it. PRICE DROP 拢700
