I've got reed types and they work for cold calling but usually just use my hand if I have one in sight. A rimfire is ample for "town" work. Center mass.

Could you not remove the spring and measure the length, D, number of coils and wire thickness. There are lots of supplier's of springs so you could get the next one down.

Foxes will be the death of me! I have chased them all my life. I respect them, they are smart and take some working out. Yes there are those that come straight on in but every now and then there is those that are very smart. Great post this 👍

I have a lot of respect for the humble rabbit. I use to make a fair amount of money from them. One estate paid me with firewood, diesel and ammunition, powder and bullets. Sadly those days are gone. My local rabbits are just recovering from myxy but every now and then vhd pops up. I love hunting rabbits 👍
