N150 works well with 123gr A-max, as does N540

Can't see any good reason not to FL size unless you have a very poor match between chamber and die dimensions

I’d look at a 6mm. Take your pick of x47, Creed, XC or even .243. If you want to go bigger, probably a 6.5x284 on a new Borden medium action. That would be my pick if big reds are also on the cards. hard to go wrong really, pick a bullet and the energy you want to deliver at what range; and pick the cartridge and barrel accordingly

I suppose its old fashioned to rely on English? After all, they were giving out 'free' lessons in it at school, and it was around long before the internet... If it was so challenging to convey meaning, books would never have caught on... But for the avoidance of doubt: 😉

If you don’t reload: .223 is probably your cheapest and best option; or .204 if you can get ammunition easily/cheaply where you are); But if you reload: TAC .20 or .20 Practical to use readily available .223 brass; or .20 PPC if you want to go the whole hog...
