William Parr Firearms Internation.....................Bill sadly passed away many years ago now circa (1997) just before the UK pistol ban , he had his shop in Belpher and also a shooting Range at Viyella Mills just out side matlock, which was indoor range for Gallery class weapons, Pistols and carbines in the limits of the range certificate.
Bill Started out dealing firearms from home on his Parents Farm, and progressed to being a world wide firearms dealer. Bill was a section 5 dealer and was authorisation for section 5 (1) a........... fully automatic weapons.
Bill was on of the very first dealers to import the M14 rifle (the adapted version of the M1 Garand) in large quantities.
He was a Western fan, and a big fan of John Wayne, and had a large collection of this memorabila at his home in Crich, Derbyshire.
I worked for bill in for about a year circa 1996....as a buyer.........agent.....working under bills RFD......BILL and my self had a good friend Gunsmith rifle maker by the name of Mick Broad from Long Eaton, who sadly poassed away.
I remember my first use of the Infamous MG42, with bill on a commercial shoot, it was an awsome experience.
I like to mention a large importer of firearms no longer in existence who bill did business with......Sidum UK..........SECTION 5 DEALERS.
I miss bill greatly we planned to move into offshore firearms business, but sadly Bill passed away.
