🤣 Well at least you tried... Shot placement was not perfect, but far from bad. And actually the .338lm didn't made it any easier since at the time I was shooting 300gr Lapua scenar bullets which are not for hunting use. I learned it the hard way. Later I switched to Berger hunting bullets that are much better. I had longer shots than that with similar shot placement using 6,5x55 but with Hornady 143gr eldx. Most deer droped in its tracks... In the end I have to say that the .338lm is not that much deadly than something smaller. I belive that using correct bullets is of bigger importance...

Maybe you think so, but believe me they are not... Suppressors are legal from this week on in Slovenia and believe me that 90% of the hunters that will use them didn't know about this facts...

I believe you are correct. Since the weight itself acts like a tuner so different weight will act differently.

I just think they made a big mistake. This scope could also be a good target scope, but who will use it with 5mrads?? And I don't take the excuse of 600m max, because all the other V8 models have 10mrad so it comes to 1000m+... I just think that lots of people will not go for it because of the limited 5mrad of adjustment...

Hey guys, actually the new V8 4,8-35x60 is not only limited with its 130cm of internal movement. It is even more limited with its 0,5cm clicks. The ASV LR has only 100clicks and this means that it has only 50cm of movement which equals 5MRAD... The guys at Zeiss are aware of this and they will probably release also the 1cm version with 10mrad of travel, but not for now.

We are getting one in the next days and we will make a review in a few weeks...
