  4. https://rifleshootermagazine.co.uk/article/peltor-protac-ear-muffs-test-and-review These are the ones I mentioned. They aren’t silly money and to my ears at least, are miles better than the Sport tac. Obviously the fit is important. They seem to be sold by outlets I’ve never heard of. Thankfully, mine arrived without any problems.
  5. With more people using muzzle brakes at the range, I was also having hearing problems. This was even worse on covered firing points. I gave up on Sporttacs and went over to Protac Shooter. They are bigger and are rated at -32db instead of -26db for the sporttac. They are quite bulky, but I don’t find it a problem
  6. I bought a Wiha torque screwdriver with some Tier One mounts. It has been very good so far, although they seem to have jumped up in price since I bought mine
  7. I tried one a few weeks ago. I don’t usually wear glasses when using scopes, but my close-up vision is deteriorating with age. I remember being impressed how clear the image and reticle were without having to adjust the diopter setting. Can you get someone else to try it?
  8. My 223 9" twist likes the Berger 70gr VLD (g1 .371, g7 .190). They seemed to be about the best BC that a 9" twist could handle when I was developing loads. They have a reputation for being finicky regarding seating depth, but they shot well with no tweaking at all. I did use a seating stem suited to VLD bullets though.
  9. As terryh says above, "Correx" is brilliant. It's waterproof and you can staple targets to it. If you're struggling to find something sturdy to hold the targets, MTM make the Jammit target holder that you can slot cardboard or Correx into.
  10. I agree with Chris NZ, I wish they had brought out N155 rather than N555.
  11. I think the member you need to contact is "Breacher"
  12. Scotch Egg I just noticed that you asked for photos. Excuse the poor lighting, no flash. Hope you can see what you need to. Any other questions, just ask. Markymark. Interesting link, I've always been surprised there isn't much available in the uk to modify AIs. Perhaps most UK shooters like to keep them to factory specs?
