  1. Up for sale is my Triggercam 2.1 boxed with all of the bits and memory card. I’m just not using this enough to justify keeping it. Will fit most scopes but please check compatibility before purchasing. photos to follow later. I’m after £400 plus 10 postage. NOW SOLD
  2. When the rifle sells, how much for the scope and what reticle is she? Also, how do you find the ARCA rail? I’m tempted to get one for my AX…
  3. *Bangs head on table* There is NO involvement of Tiff. Re PR1 and training this isn’t propoganda, just a workflow that is taking slightly longer than we hoped. As you can imagine, implementing new initiatives with the NRA at Bisley doesn’t necessarily happen as quick as we would like. We are a small committee, all volunteers with lives and families. Are focus to date has largely been qualification events which finish this month. In the meantime, we have implemented the 22 affiliate programme and there are several other workflows.
  4. Ahh, I’m missed the indications that this was for a hunting rifle! I’ve only used the scenars for target work but probably not recommended for dispatching quarry.
  5. N150 and 123 scenars is super accurate in mine and both are reasonably priced and available
  6. As Christian says John, we will leave our responses to members with a genuine interest in precision rifle. We don’t have time for individuals who are wrapped up in delivering and believing their own rhetoric.
  7. In terms of membership fees, the menial fee currently charged (most folks paid 24 quid if early joiners of the association) is basically recovered in one trip to Orion where members get a £20 saving per event, compared to non-members. Add that up over half a dozen shoots in a year and it makes sense to join. Of course, as shooters ourselves we are aware that costs continue to spiral (range fees and consumables) and will do what we can to keep thing affordable. For example, range fees may be relatively fixed and uncontrollable but If there any companies/ businesses who want to offer our members a discount on consumables (for example) that can help off set costs for the average Joe. Indeed, such companies will likely get loyalty from a group of ‘high consumers’ (powders, primers, bullets, barrels, bags etc etc) which will likely be of a long term financial benefit to themselves and helps offset costs for the shooters. Another slight ramble but again, hopefully this helps understand our desire to promote grass roots and a ‘wide base’ for the sport .
  8. @lapua - tiff isn’t involved with the GBPRA and hasn’t been since I or the others on the exec committee joined. His involvement with IPRF is irrelevant. Why should one person - who has not been on the PR scene since folding the PRL - worry anyone?? There were many within GB who doubted the GBPRA and IPRF committee intentions and did so publicly and often in the most derogatory tone/ manner. Many of those same individuals have now attended and enjoyed the qual events, which we put on. When we are running comps, we pay for our own accommodation, travel etc and are lucky enough to have volunteers who also put their time and effort in to assist, whether this be making barricades and helping set-up. We simply want to see the sport grow and a team go on to do well at the worlds. The divided community of last year needs to be left in the past as it can only signal the death of our sport. With us there is no ego, no drama, just shooting with mates, in as competitive a manner as each individual wants. If in doubt, pitch up at an event and see for yourself. best Tim sec. GBPRA
  9. Here are my two AIs…
  10. I’ve some Tier one rings which are ‘high’ but this only 30mm from picatinny interface to middle of the ring / scope. PM me if interested
  11. GTAC - https://www.gtacltd.co.uk/ Alan is a good dude too!
  12. FWIW - I recently purchased the torch upgrade bracket from Lubo and can confirm that it is a huge improvement. Much more solid and easily adjustable. Hope this helps!
  13. I think Ax308 (short action version) and AT are the same thread but AXMC (long action) are different threaded tenon.
  14. Dave, what grease should be used on the O-ring please? thanks in advance Tim
  15. We can at least agree on wanting it to take off then Terry and that I suspect is the most important thing of all!!
  16. Terry, as usual I agree with some of your points. 1 bag and no tripods for me is the way to go too but that a personal view. IMO it Reduces the kit wars and expenses for new shooters and levels the playing field. However, I disagree with your comment about ‘self appointed emperors’. Tiff and co have got off their bums and done something and it could be awesome. Others could have done so but didn’t. They have done this off their own backs in an attempt to promote the sport and raise the game. I don’t think anyone (in this country) will ever get rich by taking on such a thing. conversely it is likely to be hugely time consuming and for very little reward. I am sure that the open forums will come but it is early days....and we all know Rome wasn’t build in a day. Indeed, after all this could the collisium of PR shooting
