  2. PM inbound. I have a set of these but when the legs are folded up they don’t stay put which is why I asked. Anyway, cheers buddy and details in coming.
  3. Thanks Tikk Tac. Full specification here https://vortexoptics.com/vortex-golden-eagle-hd+reticle-ECR-1~MOA
  4. Yes - they stay closed. To open/fold the main legs you push the buttons on the sides. For the leg extension you push the button at the bottom of the leg and they pop out under spring pressure. PM me you details if you’re still interested. Nick
  5. Hi Nick, Very interested but I have one question please, Do the legs stay up when folded or do they drop down when moving? If the legs hold firm in the closed position then consider it sold sir. All the best Bob

  8. Up for sale is my Bolthorn chassis for Tikka T3. It has a folding stock, upgraded pistol grip (comes with original ‘Ergo’ grip ) and shooting shed bag rider. Extremely adjustable, comfortable and well made. These retail at nearly £1300 without the extras. Just to heavy for me to lug around the hills, so revering to a hunting style stock. £750 inc postage.
  9. Owned by us from new, bought in 2011. We switched to 6BR in 2013, then 6.5x47 in December 2017, the 308 barrel having been stored since. It's fired approx 1100 rounds during the 2 years, and has now been re-fitted. There is a steel Farrell 20MOA Pic rail fitted. The Form stock was fitted at the same time as the 6,5x47 barrel. However, it was later found to be cracked at the neck, and was properly repaired by epoxying a length of 8mm studding up through the pistol grip, now considerably stronger than when new! The trigger was replaced a couple of years ago, and there is some pitting on the bolt face. (As these rifles are somewhat modular in design, the bolt head is attached to the bolt by a pin, and is easily removed and replaced.) The original Savage stock is included with the action screws, together with the barrel spanner, and trigger adjustment tool. The scope's a Sightron Slll 8-32 x 56 LRMOA with MOA-2 reticle (and steel 30mm low rings). Some brassing on the turret edges, but optically pristine, with a skylight filter fitted from new. I've included the 6BR and 6.5x47 barrels in the pics in case anyone is interested. Priced to sell: Rifle plus Form & original stock, £500, With scope, £900, scope on it's own (after rifle is sold...), £450 6BR and 6.5x47 barrels £50 each. Preferably face to face at Bisley. Please PM in first instance. Pete
  10. @Catch-22 Could you post a pic of the MPA action inlet (current) - intrigued to see if there are any witness marks showing on inlet or action base of the Inpact ,,,after several years of use in the chassis
  11. Little has changed with.17hmr it just costs more. A lot of the criticism is exaggerated on forums with unrealistic expectations. I think it's no different to anything else, some rifles shoot better than others as if true then all brands are made by one manufacturer. 20gr are more accurate than 17gr same as found with other .17 calibres. Split cases is result of size of barrel chamber. No split cases with cz457 the same round Will split In sako quad. Same accuracy regardless of split cases and some rifles are more accurate than others. Always been that way whatever IMHO.
  12. BLASER VEST SHOOTING VEST FOUR SEASON You've got the gun, now look the part with the vest, German style. Size XXL in very good condition. New price £140 £45 including postage.
  13. Just stick the Impact into an MPA Competition chassis - I had one built a few years ago complete with several barrels of each 6.5x47 and .223AI and it’s a great shooter. Ive never been a fan of the grip on my AI, the MPA is much better.
  14. TBF I think they are priced fairly but how does £215 posted sound?
