chester
Hiya As one of the newbies on the site, is there any recommended reading on how rifles are customised and what upgrading each part of the rifle means in performance. Have searched on the web but only coming up with companies who carry out this work. I do get sporting rifle and target sports but wanting to learn more and more Any help or guidance will be really appreciated Cheers Chester

Ratwhiskers
Hi Chester. Take a look on Sinclairs site...they're in the links. They sell books on accurising stuff. Also contact Norman Clark, they had a shed load of books at the Midland Game Fair on the subject as well. All the best. Ratwhiskers. ....
Bambi-basher
"Accurizing the factory rifle" by M.L.McPherson has some good stuff for a hobby gunsmith. It is US baised so a lot about leveraction rifles which are not of interest to most of us, but plenty of good stuff on bolt and single shot actioned rifles.
