Teflon coating's???????????????

Been thinking lately about teflon coatings as I remember reading an article on it a while back. Whats the deal with. Do they strip your rifle and coat it all individual or do they just dip it all together in one piece? Sort of thinking it would be a great job for those nights when lamping and its starts to rain, last year I shot more foxes in the rain than any other time. Is it just a clear coating or is it an actual black coating? Where can it be done and who does it? Might just have my action done or maybe the action and barrel. How much doe sit cost?
