Nikko Stirling Platinum Nighteater 6-24 x 56 AG IR 30mm

Hello,

Does anyone own or known anything about nikko scopes, before i go and buy one?

I Can get a Nikko Stirling Platinum Nighteater 6-24 x 56 AG IR 30mm for £140 which i think seem pretty good.

What does everyone else think.

Nikko Sterling, i would not recommend, bought a brand new one , put it on a Rem 700 in 308 and never even finished zeroing the rifle before the reticle fell out. There are better scopes for a bit more money, Leupold, Simmons whitetail is ok, Weaver, Nikon, Bushnell etc, or look for a decent secondhand scope that maybe cost 3-400 quid new and would be in that price range.

What cal rifle is it for as that has a bearing on things as well?.
