Scotch_egg
I have just purchased a rifle that is pre threaded half inch unf. I am planning on not using my mod on this rifle to keep it nice and light. Now I would like something over the thread like a cap/protector. Where can I get one and how much should I expect to pay? cheers Dave
baldie
There a usually some throwing about off remington rimfires, etc, or airguns, that will do the job, probarbly for around the £5 mark, or for a better job, take it to your nearest gunsmith, and get him to make you one up , either knurled, or the invisible type. This way, it will be the correct length, when snugged up, and be the same diameter as your barrel...cost? £20 - £25. 325WSM
If a Parker Hale one will do - Email me your address and I will pop 1 in the post as I still have one or two left. I was always loosing them off my rimfire and so when PH shut up shop I bought enough to be able to loose one or two each year until I gave up shooting. mry716@hotmail.com
