Ronin
The Pelicans are a great case and as Kal has already said, the storms are a cheaper alternative which is just as hardy. However, if you trawl the UK sites where Pelicans are offered, you might just find one with three layers of foam for sub £200 Normal price is circa £300 - £400... ds1
Will give another vote for Hardigg Storm im 3300 cases. Have a couple, they are robust and excellent latches but do scratch / scuff easy being resin based. Customer service from Hardigg Europe is top notch - baggage chuckers damaged a hinge and they sent me out a new case no charge and let me keep the old one - not bad considering I`m in CZ land. They are or rather were located near RPA (RPA have since moved). The OD looks good. David.
