huntsman
Well done and thanks for the new forum. My first post . I have quite a collection of once fired cases in 6.5x55 ,As yet I have not reloaded this round as the factory stuff seems so accurate. But how do you select the brass which is suitable for reloading or is it all suitable? Most is norma, sako, lapua, federal. To my mind all of these would be fairly good manufacturers ? dave
Vermincinerator
Huntsman, I cannot fault Equalisers advice he is spot on but if you are serious about handloading, segregate your cases by make like Equaliser says, bag em up and sell them on ebay. With the proceeds go and buy yourself some new Lapua brass which will guarantee ( unless your retailer has the end of one batch and the start of another) all your cases being the same. At around £30 per 100 that's pretty good for such a high quality case. Ian.

Andrew
If we aren't talking bench rest shooting here, just keep it segregated as the other fellows have suggested, and reload it using one lot at a time saving the smallest segregated lots for testing new loads. ~AMMOe
huntsman
Thanks all, very sound advice , I load a bit for my ppc so understand where your coming from. But are there any factory case's, generally speaking which should remain once fired and then fired in the bin? dave
