Ronin
I understand that March Scopes will have a UK Importer announced very very soon, should any of you be interested in them...

Alycidon
Bit specialsed for some (most?) of us, warrenty also seems a bit limited compared to some makes. A
CliveWard
Strange they didn't seem bothered in having a UK distributor when I spoke to them early in the year as they had one in Germany. Perhaps they aren't flying off the shelves at the rate they anticipated. Cheers Clive
Grouse
A friend has one on his 7 wsm, its the dogs in my opinion!!
Ronin
They may be specialised and expensive, but I thought that some members (who also shoot in competition) would be interested in this info. I understand that the contract was only signed last week, I expect there will be quite a bit of interest in the BR and F Class community, maybe even some long range vermin guys too. Its a viable alternative to NF, S&B Leup etc etc if your shooting at that level....
baldie
I,d like to have a squint through one. However, it didn,t take the "f " class boys long to drop it like a paedo mag did it ? Who,s the new distributor then Andy ?
Ronin
There are still quite a few being used in F Class, cannot comment on BR as I like it lying down
Lee
There are only 4 March scopes that I'm currently aware of that are being used in 'top' F-class shooting. They are very expensive and this could be why there isnt many used yet, The main scope is still some type of nightforce. NXS or BR. I swapped my NXS 8-32x56 for the IOR 9-36x56. The NXS is now retired to its box in the cupboard! The UK agent is Gary Costello and if anyone is interested in one, let me know and I can give his details unless you have them already. I do know of a second hand March scope which I know has performed very well and has just been advertised for sale on the Fclass league forum. I put it on there for the guy who is selling it last night. again let me know I can put you straight onto him. £1650 it is. The recession is hitting him very hard and he has had to pull out of the League and sell all his gear, Darn shame! Lee
Ronin
Thanks for that Lee, and by the way, welcome to the site! I wasn't sure if Gary had announced it yet officially, so I was holding off on naming names. Have to say I was impressed on your IOR I had a peep through at Diggle. If I was going to change, an IOR would certainly be on my list.
scotsgun
I had a squint through one of the big variable IOR scopes recently and was quite impressed - it seemed almost as good as my kahles. Bloody heavy though so not ideal for a rifle also being used for stalking or other hunting. I'd def thinking of getting one for my new savage mod12...maybe the 6-24x50 although i'm a bit concerned by the weird tube diameter.
Ronin
If you are bothered about the "irregular" tube diameter, I think you can buy either steel or ally rings from Border Barrels. The ally ones are pretty good, the steel ones not so. If you speak to Lee (at Border), he will advise, and spend the time to explain things in detail. I was fortunate to look through his scope at a comp recently, nice scope, good rings and decent chap too.
