I did a similar test with Vermincinerator a few years ago, this showed us both the limitations of Luepolds in marginal light situations. Swaro was next best and a small Ziess was by far the best, allowed another 15 minutes of shooting above the Swaro. The chart mimics what I have found with my scopes in low light, Luepold (and we had one each) is frankly poor, NSX and Swaro are optically similar but the illuminated ret on NSX is a god send. Best is Ziess. Just never looked through a S&B after dark but menial 1s PM2 I had a look through in daylight the other day was nice. A. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
