Benchrest stock

Currently have savage action in 6br with Bell and Carson stock and Louther Heavy 28"barrel. My stock is not ideal as it doesn't seem to ride in my back bag.

Now I want to change my stock, but the true V shape type benchrest stocks ive seen  are a small fortune £1200 been quoted. 

So what are my options 

Some helpful pointers would be appreciated.

I have two bench rest stocks that really are things of beauty, supplied by Mik made by Joe West, I cannot remember how much I paid, but nothing like £1200 or I certainly wouldn’t have bought them.

Got a red fibreglass benchrest stock, never been fitted has I think a Remington inlet but could be changed especially if you painted it afterwards. PM me your email for pics if interested.
