Stripping Sako Quad bolt .22

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a video of how to disassemble a sako quad bolt. I took my son to Bisley last week and noticed that the bolt was at time’s stiffer than normal to close. I have put about 4000 rounds though it and it has never been stripped, so it might be time for a little TLC.

There is a small problem with the quad bolt. It needs to be lubricated and cleaned where the bolt handle is pushed up against the bolt as it is being turned. I don't have my bolt with me at the moment. I will try to explain better later.
