Maidment78
So over the last few shoots I have learnt so much, and I had a tough lesson last weekend when I dropped a lot of points as my mat is wobbly as hell with the rear bag on it. the second detail i shot with the bag and elbows on the grass and the mat way back and what a difference. So the question now is is there a mat that a bag can sit on? Do I just cut a hole in mine for the bag to go in, any suggestions?
Re-Pete
I started with smallbore type mat but found it too thick and soft for grass, so I bought an AIM mat. This was OK, but too bulky, so I sold it and now use these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yoga-Mad-Studio-Yoga-Wide-Blue/dp/B000RK2ZJM/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=yoga+mad+studio+mat&qid=1572702180&s=sports&sr=1-3 I've found them to be brilliant. The butt bag stays exactly where it is, the damp doesn't come through and it's compact when rolled up. Pete

These mats are made by a top F Class shooter. See my write-up on http://www.targetshooter.co.uk/?p=3125
