Norfresh Posted October 9, 2019 Report Share Posted October 9, 2019 Trying to figure out a sensible place to start for the following combination. 6.5-284 143 eld-x, Reload Swiss 70 and cci large rifle primers. I have some factory Norma Golden Target and I'll probably use the brass off that although I was promised some Lapua brass off a friend so I'll use that if they are in good nick. It will be ran in a 24" 1 in 7.5 twist barrel. I usually do a ladder test and then work off that but there is little to know information out there in terms of safe start weight or max loads.
