To be honest I didn't know the 170gr existed until yesterday and have been pleased with the 167gr Lapua in the past. That was until I noticed the variables in weight with the 167gr so switched back to the 168gr SMK which did me well this summer. My thoughts are that it should perform better at 900 & 1000? terryh Posted August 12, 2019 Report Share Posted August 12, 2019 SB these bullets along with the D46 designs have always looked interesting but to be honest I do not know if I’ve the willpower to do side by side load development and then testing them vs say Scanars?
