The Precision Rifle League 22 is set to launch in Summer 2020. The PRL22 will run alongside the Precision Rifle League as a separate .22 LR national league.

The PRL22 has be designed to fulfil the PRL’s primary aim "to develop and expand precision rifle shooting for the benefit of all”.

Each month, a standardised PRL22 course of fire will be distributed to participating local ranges, enabling everyone to compete in precision rifle shooting.

These Local Matches will involve short range precision rifle out to 100y/m.

Scores from these Local Matches will be centralised and published each month; allowing shooters to see their current place on the PRL22 Leaderboard.

National Matches will run alongside Local Matches, culminating in a National Finale for qualifying shooters in June 2021.

These National Matches and the National Finale will involve short and long range .22 precision rifle shooting out to 300y/m.

Just like the current centerfire Precision Rifle League Challenges, PRL22 matches will predominately involve shooting from barricades and other props, requiring multi-positional precision rifle skills.

To register your interest in competing in the PRL22 and be placed on the mailing list, please contact League Director Tiff Dew.

Additionally if you would be interested in hosting a PRL22 match and are involved with a club, operate a range or indeed have access to a suitable piece of land please contact Tiff:

Further details to follow in the coming months, including a more in-depth article in Rifle Shooter.
