Benchrest rear hand.

Guys,

I shoot in a couple of benchrest comp's that allow a front rest only.  My problem is I dont know what the best position for my non trigger hand.  Make a fist and rest the stock on that, or place my free hand on my other arm, and rest the stock on my forearm is what Ive tried so far, but neither seem ideal.

any suggestions?

Would your left hand not be operating the joy stick of the front rest as if you was using a  seb ?

This with .22LR  at 25m and 50m. The front rest can only offer vertical support, no lateral.

At my club we all have to use the MTM? red plastic stepped prism/delta shaped things.
