Ejcb
Guys, Fired these groups at 1000 yards at Bisley - can anyone make clear the target / group size?
1066
I believe the dotted squares are 1 moa (about 10.5") so at a guess the top group would be about 15" across and the lower one about18"
SMLE
My understanding too, the squares represent one moa.
No i deer
If the vbull on a f class target is half a minute the the squares looks half a minute too
Ejcb
So squares either 1 or .5 MOA? Edited April 30, 2019 by Ejcb Clarification
GeorgeB
That's not an F Class target face, it's an NRA TR 1000 yard face - and the squares are 1 moa.

It was an out of the box 6.5 Creedmoor Bergara HMR shooting factory 140 ELD-M - off a Harris Bipod. Didn’t try to adjust for wind just held centre and cracked on. Brillo
Whatever the square sizes, those are excellent vertical displacements

TR Long Range Target: V = 14.4" diam. Bull = 24" diam. Nice shooting by the way. Just under 1/2moa vertical and 2moa horizontal.

Will be interesting to knock up some loads for the rifle, ELD-M isn’t cheap ammo, but the rifle / ammo / bipod combination outperformed my expectations. it was a good health check for my shooting, next time will try and adjust and hold for wind - although that will almost certainly mess things up spectacularly! Popsbengo
I'm developing a load for 308 178gn ELD-M. I plan to go to Bisley and see what 1000yds group looks like!
