ruger7717
I wonder what's going to happen with all the old AW stocks? Also wonder, will the upgrades be done 'inhouse' by Bundeswehr armours or be sent back to AI?
ds1
Must admit I was a little confused (old and addled brain) when I read it as upgrade these days often means something new and refurbishment is changing / bolting new bits on. Seems like the latter from this: https://www.edrmagazine.eu/accuracy-international-ltd-awarded-contract-to-upgrade-german-armys-g22-sniper-rifles So looks like an AW series bolt and receiver with single stack mag in an AX stock without the quick change feature of the AXMC from what I can tell from the pic . As Ruger 7717 eludes - the AW stocks could be sought after if they don’t have to be binned/ cut up as ex-police kit.
ruger7717
I prefer the AW stocks to the new AX chassis.
