Novice1
Does anyone know if it's possible to alter a stock currently inlet for a tikka m695 to take a tikka T3? If so, how much work is involved and which smith would be a likely candidate to take it on? It's a McMillan stock if that makes a difference. Hopeful that as they're both long actions from the same manufacturer, it might just be possible. Cheers
Akeld
T3 isn't as deep and has an angled base as opposed to the flat base of the 695, also the recoil lug is completely different. I asked if it could be done the other way, a T3 inlet to an M595, no one was keen to take the job on although that was an aluminium stock
Re-Pete
Where are you? I'd recommend Crispin Engineering if you're south of the M4. Pete
lapua
Probably more cost effective to sell it and start afresh, especially if you have to factor in painting
