One on top of two
I have been in the same situation as you , in the end for various reasons I settled on two vortex viper PST gen two 5x 25x50 FFP ( mine are in MRAD ) with matched rets and turrets . Cost me a grand each . took them out this weekend to set them up at , both zeroed at 100 yards i have two tikka Tac A1 s one .308 win and the other in 6.5 creedmoor after zeroing the scopes today the results are as follows from zero 6.5 creedmoor ( with a 25 moa mounts ) comes in at Amount : 21.5 milli-radians (mrad of angle) Equals : 73.91 minutes (' , MOA / angle) Fraction : 73 91/100 minutes (' , MOA / angle) And the 308 win ( with a zero moa mounts and flat rail ) comes in at from zero Amount : 12.5 milli-radians (mrad of angle) Equals : 42.97 minutes (' , MOA / angle) Fraction : 42 97/100 minutes (' , MOA / angle) I cant moan at those figures , they will get me out to wherever
Murphy2para
I’m torn with the tikka and Ruger at the moment haven’t heard they are great rifles but heavier than the Ruger how do you find them? I have my eye on a 20” Ruger locally bit different but a bit cheaper to begin with. cracking setup though 👏

Woodlander
Big Al was selling his 8-32 Sightron for a good price and it would be well looked after. Between the Tikka tac and RPR, by all accounts I’ve read,it’s the Tikka hands down.

David Hancock
Murphy. I just put a Tract Toric on my .223. Direct from the USA. Check out the spec. It is a phenomenal scope for the money - around £1050 shipped. Available in MOA or Mil and the glass is better than my Delta Stryker at £400 more.
