Mark Jones
Hi, after some help please. Just brought a new rifle and want to develop loads for it. Will be buying new Lapua brass and was wondering about measuring seating depth. I have a Hornaday seating depth tool and am going to make a case for it from once fired brass. Should I bump the shoulder 2 Thou on this case as i will be doing this to all cases I load for the rifle or leave it as fireformed? I'm guessing I should bump the shoulder as this will affect my measurement if i understand correctly Many thanks Mark
jcampbellsmith
Not sure I really follow your question. Keep in mind that any measurements you make are specific to your rifle and your set of callipers. Keep things as simple as possible. Enjoy the 260 Rem. jcampbellsmith
Leave as is in terms of length. Does the 260 have a tight neck or not? Regards JCS
