Also , for the record, it is my belief that right from the start Funky only had one goal in mind and that was to create problems for James.

Why else contact Duracoat ? So what if there is another product with the same name? I am sure Funky can read and if it was the same product it would say on the can in Homebase 'produced for Homebase in the US by Houtts Enterprises LLC ' or words to that effect. It obviously doesn't say this.

It obviously wasn't the answer Funky hoped for when he contacted Duracoat in the US.

Colin with all due respect I didn't know the answer I merely just informed James when I saw the Duracoat in Homebase. I suspected James would want to verify if it was the real deal or not and I can honestly say that I did not know the answer as I really wasn't interested.

 

If anyone cares to re-read the opening post Pete did not ask James if it was the real Duracoat or not, he actually stated that he had found Duracoat in Homebase. I guess hindsight is a wonderful thing and perhaps Pete should have asked the question straight from the off set, or perhaps emailed Duracoat and then given us their reply and telling us all to avoid it for use on our rifles, like I say hindsight and all that.

Like I said , why bother contacting them in the 1st place ? He had no interest in using it himself .

Maybe the reason no one mentined it at the beginning of the post was to let everyone see the lengths that Funky goes to to either wind people up or drop people in it. There you go , another guess.

 

Unscrupulous methods - I don't think so . I suppose it was unscrupulous methods that got him banned from every other site he's been banned from too.

 

As for jumping to the bait - was it me , Kal , WSM , Elwwod or anyone else that started the post ?? No , it was Funky. So if he hadn't started it none of this would have happened.

Just for the record, I havent tried to get anyone banned, nor would I...life is too short...

 

Now I have known that this Homebase offering wasnt the coating I use so what. Pete wanted to have a crack at this so why should I give a flying, it wouldnt make any difference what I said he had his agenda and he was sticking to it.

 

I posted a clue earlier in the thread about "who I deal with" and he wasnt interested, now if he had asked me the question then I would have answered it. There wasnt a question as its already been pointed out, so the thread ran on. Im glad it did actually as my phone hasnt stopped ring all bloody day...

 

I thought it would be good to put the Homebase offering along side the real thing, well gee whiz, it wouldnt of taken Einstein to work out what was going to happen now would it...

 

As I said the Homebase offering is nothing more than Plastikote, it is not a poly resin of any discription so wouldnt be suitable long term, I certainly wouldnt put it on a rifle.

 

Anyway, we all know now Homebase Duracoat Multi Purpose Spray paint aint worth diddly!

The only one to take the blame for Funky Bunch being removed is Funky Bunch as you well know.This thread was only put up with the intention of discrediting the type of Duracoating that James does which is something else you know.Funky Bunch has a track record of this and knew full well what the consequences were when he started this thread

Having been suspended twice and having his warnings up to 80% you would have thought that he`d keep a low profile but unfortunately he had his own agenda against certain members of this site stretching back a long way
