stephentri
Hi looking for a new trickler the Lyman one that I have when using with fine powder like cfe223 it comes out between the spindle and the body of the trickler as tolerances are not tight. Could anyone recommend a trickler that works well with fine powder.

rhhudson
I have got the hornady one. Yes it' plastic and light weight but it does the job ok. The only trouble is it seems to drop 2/3 granules of extruded powder at once.... So I thought I would try a Redding no 5 trickler as they have very good reviews... Well it' made from some sort of cast metal so nice and weighty. It' got a screw thread that in theory the powder should run in when you turn the trickler. So I thought it must be worth the extra money. Well on using it I was disappointed it was exactly the same as the cheap plastic hornady except heavy and expensive. So needless to say I sold that and I still use my hornady one.
