Nfarmer
Bremmer Arms AR15 A2 Calibre .22LR Price: £600 Face to Face or via RFD at your cost Bremmer made AR15 A2 built using original AR15 parts based on the A2 model, including 3xBlack Dog magazines and 3xOriginal 10 round inserts for standard AR 5.56 magazines. The .22 rifle uses the Army M-261 kit and an electronic copy of the Technical Manual is available here http://www.liberatedmanuals.com/TM-9-6920-363-12-and-P.pdf The rifle has recently had the following fitted, new firing pin and spring, new extractor claw and spring and new recoil spring. The old parts and some other replacement parts are included. The beauty of the rifle is that it is built of the same materials using M16 / AR15 forgings / castings, furniture and hardware. The lower can be used with a .223 upper and the .22rf upper uses the M261 conversion kit developed for the US military so they could fire .22 in their .223s for training purposes. This is a fully dedicated .22 A2 milspec rifle, complete with scope I believe 2000 were produced between 1997 and 2000 and this is number 19. Bremmer Arms were started by Paul Leitner-Wise. When Bremmer folded all their stuff was bought by Parker-Hale. When Parker-hale went down the pan, all their stock was bought by Sabre Defense. I have been told that the receivers were made by/for Bushmaster/Quality parts. Norman

Regards Shaun The original scope was a 3x20, they're worth about £450 or more The one in the photo is a 4x20 replica, worth about £60 at best....they're still decent scopes though....depending on manufacturer
Nfarmer
It isn't an original Colt, unfortunately. The rifle had an unnamed carry handle scope when I bought it but the reticule was loose and impossible to zero! The one on the rifle now is Vector Optics Streak (Chinese clone) bought from Ant Supplies https://www.ant-supplies.uk/scopes-sights-optics/ar15-carry-handle-scopes.html cheap and chreerful but never the less a very good clear scope. Helston Gunsmiths list a Colt for the purest at £290 http://www.helstongunsmiths.com/default.asp?ID=1095&CB=3%2F28%2F2018+7%3A41%3A31+AM Norman
