banus02
i dont shoot target/ranges as such but dont all uk rifle ranges now have a caliber/muzzle energy limit for civilian use and i am probably wrong but was led to believe fifty cal are not allowed and certain 338 had to be restricted?.i do wish the fcsa the best of luck and hope i am wrong as if they can not be used how long before a 243 is all we as shooters will .be permitted to use any where. Grum87
Draconian calibre/muzzle energy limits tend to be more to do with danger areas, etc. There are private ranges in the UK cleared for big stuff. The are plenty of us in the FCSA that also shoot much more sane, wallet and range friendly calibres too, hence bookings not just focusing on 50cals and 338's.....
