baldie
Christmas is about the only time, I take a bit of time for myself, and sort my own guns out. Having recently sold my old AR, I decided it was time I had a new one. Reason being I used one of these lowers recently for a customer, and loved it. They have a couple of extra's which all other don't have. First is an Ambi mag release, and second, is a lever which allows you to drop the bolt into battery, without using the ping-pong lever. Dead hand when told to make ready. The upper and lower are made By Cross Machine, and are billet. The upper being the SOCOM model with its larger ejection port. Fore end is also Cross machine. Machined up for my side charger, then all done in Sig dark grey Cerakote. The barrel started life as a Bartlien 1 in 8" rem varmint. That went into the lathe and was re profiled similar to a national match, but a bit thicker. Finished at 20" and one of my three port brakes fitted and machined in. Trigger is a Triggertech unit. The stock is a UBR with an adjustable buttplate. Barrel paint and controls done in Cerakote Armour black. This one is in .223 Wylde. I also have the new .224 Valkyrie barrel for it, and they are easily switched.
