22 br load info

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm just about to start some load development for my 22BR it has a 24" 1in 12 twist barrel i am looking to try 60 grain v-max with viht n135 and fed 205m primers has anyone any experience with this load setup would be appreciated

after searching around the best min to max charge weight I have found is 23.4 start to 28.2 max for this powder just wanting to double check before I start.

Using the 64 grain Berger I used 29.4 gr of N135. The load was very accurate. However  my 1-12 twist absolutely loves 50 and 55 grain projectiles and the powder of choice is H322, nothing else has even come close.

Thanks Elwood

Getting superb accuracy with 52A-Max at decent distances just looking for a better Reynard round

Nothing wrong with the 52 AMax for foxes. I have never had one run when hit by one of those...ever.

I use a 22BR with the 52AMax. Tuned down for accuracy at 3750fps.

If you zero an inch high at 100yds then you can point and shoot to around 275yds.
