bbob Posted December 6, 2017 Report Share Posted December 6, 2017 Hi I'm just about to start some load development for my 22BR it has a 24" 1in 12 twist barrel i am looking to try 60 grain v-max with viht n135 and fed 205m primers has anyone any experience with this load setup would be appreciated after searching around the best min to max charge weight I have found is 23.4 start to 28.2 max for this powder just wanting to double check before I start. stuart Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Elwood Posted December 6, 2017 Report Share Posted December 6, 2017 Using the 64 grain Berger I used 29.4 gr of N135. The load was very accurate. However my 1-12 twist absolutely loves 50 and 55 grain projectiles and the powder of choice is H322, nothing else has even come close. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

justin credible Posted December 7, 2017 Report Share Posted December 7, 2017 Nothing wrong with the 52 AMax for foxes. I have never had one run when hit by one of those...ever. I use a 22BR with the 52AMax. Tuned down for accuracy at 3750fps. If you zero an inch high at 100yds then you can point and shoot to around 275yds.
