6BR, closely followed by 6.5x47, with 223 coming in 3rd place.............

I like my 6.5x47, accurate, couple of 22rf's which work just fine and a 7.5x55 Swiss which shows what an old military rifle can be like.

But for just straight fun with an all round grins from everyone who's shot mine it is hard to beat any BPCR, not just in shooting the buggers but in all stages, from reloading to firing and getting them to work. So 45-2.1, 40-65, 45-90 etc.

Enjoyed shooting my US mate's BPCR for the novelty value (unlike the light .300Wby..) but at home it's 6.5x47 and 6BR for sheer accuracy, and the .280AI for tipping bambis over.

Really enjoy shooting my 257 Roberts. A rifle built for me in a cartridge I like. Hits well on deer, is accurate and can watch the bug holes appear on a shoot-n-c!

Scrummy

A very under rated caliber that never seemed to catch on. Not even that much in the usa....
