skull hooker
Hi Has anybody out there got or know anybody with an Archer, who uses a 940Nm illuminator?. I have a 840Nm illuminator , a Nightmaster 800 , a great long-range setup, but of late, I've noticed that a lot of foxes notice the illuminator and give it legs toot sweet. I put this down to red light lampers who miss these foxes and therefore educate them, so I'm looking for something a little less bright. Nightmaster do a 940 pill for the 800, but say the range is restricted. I'm looking to get so info on how restricted this is, or identify another IR torch for use with the Archer which would give a range of 100-150yds Any ideas? camo304
100-150 on a full moon should be fine with no ir, if you have a good gen3 tube fitted. 940nm is to high for tubed stuff anything above 850nm and it's dropping off.
