Re.action length and stiffness, If looking at a Tikka there is no difference between the LA & SA, just the size of the bolt stop to control length of bolt travel (if I'm not mistaken?)

 

Out of the box the Tikka does do rather well.

Thanks Terry, I was unaware of that. Chances are, it will be a Tikka, as out of the box, they do tend to shoot rather well. I've already had a price on a custom build provided and it's looking like a £2K option, so a factory Tika CTR or similar seems like it might be the way forward.
